We are so happy to be at Cobb's Marina again this year and look forward to having an amazing tournament and raise a record amount of money for local charities and college scholarships!

History of our Tournament
Dr. John B. Lapetina, Sr. was a longtime member of the Kiwanis Club of Ocean View, a legendary Dentist and an avid fisherman. His son John, Jr. also a longtime member of the Kiwanis club, created this event as a way to honor his father after he passed away in January 2014. The first tournament in 2014 had thirteen boats entered and has now grown every year since!
Purpose of our Tournament
ALL of the funds raised at this tournament go back to children in our community. Last year we presented 6 local high school graduates with a $1000 scholarships through the Kiwanis Club of Ocean View Beach! We also sponsor a local little league team and make donations to FORKIDS, a local homeless shelter. We will also be sponsoring children this summer for the Ocean View Pier Fish Camp.

6:00 AM - Lines in the water! Go catch some doormats!
5:00 PM - Weigh In at Cobb's Marina
5:00 PM - 9:00 PM - BBQ Dinner, Beer and Refreshments, Silent Auction and Awards Ceremony!!!
Cobb's Marina is offering a SPECIAL RATE for tournament boats (up to 40') to dock at the marina. Call Cobb's for rates.
